A Deliberate Life is about attention, place, and what it means to live deliberately in a distracted world.

It’s a purposely unpolished thing inspired by my family, my home in New England, and people of the past, like Thoreau, that’ve changed the way I pay attention to my life.

I write about what it means to notice your own life more fully, the role of place in shaping awareness, and what it looks like to listen more to yourself than to the noise around you.

If there’s a thread running through it all, it’s this: I believe reclaiming your attention is an act of rebellion. And like so many things, it’s simple, but not easy.
